Education
My doctoral work at Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra, sits at the intersection of Disability Studies, Indian English fiction, and postcolonial literature, the same intersection this whole site is organised around. An MA at Jamia Millia Islamia gave me the grounding in literary theory the thesis now draws on, and a BA at the University of Jammu, in the region where I now teach.

Beyond the classroom
I lead the technical side of Oceanic Fiction, an open archive built with the Dept. of English at Jamia Millia Islamia, and I contribute to a disability archive under my supervisor’s guidance at DBRAU. Both are described more fully on the Projects page. English Summary, an independent study platform I built and still manage, is where my interest in accessible, self-directed learning first took shape.
